3rd day (Tuesday) = 1st day at school
Ice Breaking Activities were the first item on the agenda at the school. We were randomly divided into 5 groups. The first task was as follows - come up with the name of your group (for example, rainbows, unicorns, winners, etc.) and choose a group leader. Furthermore, the teacher gave us an envelope with various tasks.
The first task was to go to the best school office and meet there next task - to pass the text in the correct order and translate it into English. The text was written in Spanish, Polish, Croatian and Czech. The next task was to search for the next station, where he had on me and my teammates waited another teacher with a rope, grabbed him and we operate under its guidelines - pano = up = down Kato, ene = one and chéry = hand. According to these guidelines, we got up and sat down together, clinging to the rope in the ring. Next on the program was a joint breakfast of national dishes, which were some good, some vice versa.
The longest part of the day was the opening ceremony, where Cypriots gave a welcoming speech, typical national dances and performances, for example, the school orchestra and choir. Consequently, we are in groups had the opportunity to see the school. From my perspective it was within acceptable options. On the positive side, there sure painted walls in the corridors that formed the pupils themselves, while a negative aspect for me was the unusual thing - burning toilets that smelled very. After the tour, we were shown a tutorial program for QuizMaker. Apparently for technical reasons, it was noticeable that the video happening. I would recommend to bring students more into the picture, to know what the program itself offers opportunities. Then we filled in groups multicultural quiz in which we achieved the worst result in my class.
According to the plan, I also visited Stavros with his physics class. I really did not like, because the students were very unruly, but I was happy that I know what the teacher writes on the blackboard.
After school I went to my hosts lunch to his grandmother with his sister. It's a very nice lady and a good cook. We ate a special Cypriot vegetables that grow elsewhere than in Cyprus / It don't tasted me to much, it was sour \ chicken, sauce and bread. Stavri told me about his aunt, who arrived at the house next door and who studied 8 years in Czech art history. She was very nice and happy moment and forget that even English. I chatted with her and her sister in English about their country, culture, history, and we have not missed my family and Bohemia.
Lunch in Grandma's house was great, I'm glad to met this amazing woman. My impressions of the school: their school is different than our school, i think they have archaic IT technologies, I was surprised by the burning toilets and graffiti on the walls.

3. Den (úterý) = 1. den ve škole
,,Ice breaking activities" byly prvním bodem na programu ve škole. Byli jsme náhodně rozděleni do 5 skupin. Prvním úkolem byl následující - vymyslete jméno své skupině (například rainbows, unicorns, winners, atd.) a zvolte vedoucího skupiny. Dále nám pan učitel rozdal obálky s různými úkoly. Prvním úkolem bylo jít do nejlepší kanceláře ve škole a tam splnit další úkol - složit text do správného pořadí a přeložit jej do angličtiny. Text byl psán španělsky, polsky, chorvatsky a česky. Dalším úkolem bylo vyhledat další stanoviště, kde už na mne a mé spoluhráče čekala další učitelka s provazem, uchopil jsme jej a postupovali dle jejích pokynů - pano = nahoru, kato = dolů, ene = jedna a ?= ruka. Dle těchto pokynů jsme vstávali nebo si sedali společně, držíce se za lano v kruhu. Další na programu byla společná snídaně národních specialit, které byly některé dobré, některé naopak.
Nejdelší částí dne byl uvítací ceremoniál, kde přednesli kypřané uvítací řeč, typické národní tance nebo například vystoupení školního orchestru s pěveckým sborem. Následně jsme si po skupinách měli možnost prohlédnout si školu. Z mého pohledu byla v rámci možností přijatelné. Kladnou stránkou jsou například malované stěny na chodbách, které tvořily samy žáci, naopak zápornou stránkou pro mě byla neobvyklá věc - hořící záchody, které velmi zapáchaly. Po prohlídce nám byl promítnut tutoriál k programu QUIZMAKER. Zřejmě z technických důvodů nebylo znatelné co se na videu děje. Doporučovala bych uvést studenty více do obrazu, aby věděli jaké program samotný nabízí možnosti. Poté jsme vyplňovali ve skupinách různojazyčný kvíz, ve kterém jsme dosáhli nejhoršího výsledku z celé třídy.
Podle plánu jsem také navštívila se Stavrosem jeho hodinu fyziky. Moc se mi tam nelíbilo, jelikož studenti byli velmi neukáznění, ale byla jsem šťastná, že vím o čem učitelka píše na tabuli. Po škole jsem se svým hostitelem jela na oběd k jeho babičce s jeho sestrou. Je to velice milá dáma a dobrá kuchařka. Jedli jsme speciální kyperskou zeleninu, která neroste jinde než na Kypru (moc mi nechutnala, byla kyselá) s kuřetem, omáčkou a chlebem. Stavri mi řekl o svojí tetě která přijela ve vedlejším domě a která studovala 8 let v Čechách dějiny umění. Byla velice milá a ráda a chvíli i že nezapomněla češtinu. Povídala jsem si s ní i její sestrou v angličtině o jejich zemi, kultuře, historii a nevynechali jsme ani moji rodinu a Čechy.
Oběd u babičky byl úžasný, jsem vděčná, že jsem poznala tuto skvělou ženu. Můj dojem ze školy: je velmi odlišná od naší, mají starší IT technologie, překvapily mne hořící záchody a ,,posprejované" zdi.
