Day 7 = Trip to Limassol, Paphos and visiting of the archaeological place of Kourion
This morning I got up early. I could not wait to know more of the history of Cyprus. Because Stavros had exams in English unfortunately we could not go on the trip with us, but he promised to join us as soon as possible. All day I kept my fingers crossed for him.
We went by coach from the school. At first we went to the port of Limassol. At the moment, me and my friends stopped at a local cafe in the harbor. I really liked this place.
Now we headed to the nearby castle Kolossi, there is the beautiful view. All around the castle are big citrus plantations.
Next stop - Paphos. Breathtaking views of the vast Mediterranean Sea. Paphos is the former capital city of Cyprus and mythological place too. According to legend there is the birthplace of the goddess Aphrodite.
A place where history is breathing to you - it's Kourion, the ruins of the former ancient city with the Greco - Roman theater. There's a magnificent view of the sea. From my point of view - what more do you want?
Perhaps only lunch at port restaurant, which was excellent. I've eaten the best Lasagne in my life. Stavros managed to come and ate a lunch with us.
After arriving home, I went to rest because it had a long day. Because Stavros had a birthday a week ago, he had a family birthday party. I am grateful that I could be at a party and met the whole family because they are really amazing people. We finished dinner, we said goodbye to his family and went to the farewell party for Dimitris.
There were a nostalgic mood, but we all had fun. We continued to sign T-shirts. Before the end of the party we watched the video of the photos of the week. It was very sad and nostalgic. I realized how lucky I had, because I had the chance to meet such wonderful people. In conclusion, Panagiota and Grigoris sang a song composed by a full week. When we said goodbye everybody cried and cried and cried. It was very sad. I miss these amazing people very much. I hope to see them again!

7. den = Výlet do měst Limassol a Paphos, prohlídka Archeologického místa Kourion
To ráno jsem vstávala brzy. Nemohla jsem se dočkat až poznám další část historie Kypru. Protože Stavros měl zkoušky z angličtiny bohužel nemohl jet na výlet s námi, ale slíbil, že se k nám připojí co nejdříve. Celý den jsem mu držela palce.
Vyjeli jsme autobusem od školy. Mířili jsme do přístavního města Limassol. Na chvíli jsem se zastavili v místní kavárně v přístavu. Velmi se mi tady líbilo.
Zamířili jsme do nedalekého hradu Kolossi, ze kterého je úžasný výhled. Všude okolo jsou rozlehlé citrusové sady.
Další zastávka - Paphos. Úchvatný výhled na rozlehlé Středozemní moře. Paphos je bývalé hlavní město Kypru a mytologické místo také. Podle pověsti je místem zrození bohyně Afrodité.
Místo, kde na Vás dýchá historie - to je Kourion, pozůstatky bývalého antického města s řecko - římským divadlem. Navíc je tu nádherný výhled na moře. Z mého pohledu - co víc si přát?
Snad jen oběd v přístavní restauraci, který byl výborný. Jedla jsem zde nejlepší Lasagne. Stavros stihl přijít a obědval s námi.
Po příjezdu domů jsem si šla odpočinout, protože byl to náročný den. Protože Stavros měl narozeniny před týdnem, konala se rodinná oslava. Jsem vděčná, že jsem mohla být na oslavě a poznala celou rodinu. Jsou to opravdu úžasní lidé. Dojedli jsme večeři, rozloučili jsme se s rodinou a jeli na rozlučkovou párty k Dimitrisovi.
Byla tady nostalgická nálada, ale všichni jsme se bavili. Pokračovali jsme v podepisování triček a bavili se. Před koncem párty jsme se dívali na video z fotek z celého týdne. Bylo to velmi smutné a nostalgické. Uvědomila jsem si, jaké mám štěstí, že jsem měla šanci poznat tak úžasné lidi. Na závěr nám Panagiota a Grigoris zazpívali písničku, kterou složili o celém týdnu. Když jsme se loučili všichni plakali, plakali a plakali. Bylo to smutné a chybí mi tito úžasní lidé. Doufám, že je znovu uvidím!
